According to the Amadeus Traveller Tribes quiz, I am an Excited Experentialist. I did it couple of times to be sure, but turned out EE each time, so it must be right, right? Seems most of us are without children, have flexible work lives, have a YOLO (You Only Live Once) approach, act on instinct and are therefore “2033s ‘anti-planners’, favoring less predictable and more exciting accommodation experiences”. In Asia Pacific, though, EEs are less common – seems Pioneering Pathfinders and Memory Makers dominate and what I find interesting is the former are found in big, somewhat chaotic, dynamic countries like China, India and Thailand while the latter dominate in more matured and organised societies like Singapore, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
